Here's how the process works:
1. Signup and take the interactive course and receive an online completion certificate plus up to 6.8 CEU credits (see above).

2. Bring your certificate to a skills center to complete a short hands-on skills evaluation.

3. Receive an official ACEP eACLS Provider wallet card which is accepted nationwide.

In addition, after completing the Online course and online exam, you instantly receive an eACLS™ completion certificate, and the following
Nationally accepted and recognized CEU credits:
- 6 hours of AMA Category 1 CME credit and 6 hours of ACEP Category I CME credit for physicians and physician assistants
- 6.8 clinical CEH for nurses provided by the Emergency Nurses Association® (ENA)
- 6 Advanced Continuing Education Hours (CEH) provided by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services® (CECBEMS).
The American College of Emergency Physicians® has contacted all 50 states regarding state approval for this eACLS™ course.
Most states have indicated that CECBEMS approval is sufficient.
Requirements and Additional Information:
After you sign up, you can start the comprehensive, interactive course right away and then begin the exam. Once the exam is completed, it is graded instantly, and any wrong answers are remediated. You must score at least 84% to pass the course. You will be given three (3) opportunities to pass the online test.
Upon completion of the course, if required by your facility, you may schedule a short "skills evaluation", approximately 30 minutes in length at a local skills testing center. If there are no testing centers nearby, we will contact your healthcare facility or another facilities in your area to arrange a skills evaluation.
Please be aware that other online ACLS Re-certification courses that do NOT offer a Skills evaluation option, do not meet ECC or American Heart® Guidelines.
